A clearer view of individualized support.

FOR SCHOOLS & DISTRICTS

Connect individual learning plans with everyday teaching through a live LMS–UDL/AAC app connection. Teaching evidence feeds fully automated reporting, while staff management and training tools help your school organise and develop its team.

SENBOX combines international special education practice with the curriculum your school follows. Individual tasks can be linked to US Common Core, Singapore, UK, Australian, New Zealand and other curriculum frameworks. Your school retains its own curriculum.

Everyday evidence. Stronger progress reviews.

Connect teaching and behaviour records with reports and conversations with families.

SENBOX lets your school understand behaviour through evidence

SENBOX helps staff collect structured information around behaviour, including what happened before an event, what occurred, what followed, frequency, duration, intensity and relevant environmental factors. This helps teams identify patterns and make better-informed intervention decisions.

SENBOX lets your school make decisions from real learning data

SENBOX helps teachers record performance, independence, prompting, time and other meaningful learning information. Over time, this gives the school a stronger evidence base for decisions around teaching, intervention, goal setting and programme review.

SENBOX lets your school produce stronger progress reports

SENBOX connects everyday teaching with evidence and progress data. Staff can build reports from information collected throughout the intervention period, allowing schools to provide parents with a clearer picture of what has been taught, what has changed and what should happen next.

SENBOX lets your school reduce the workload of report preparation

SENBOX helps organise evidence while teaching is happening. When reporting time arrives, staff already have a structured record of activities, observations, progress and learner outcomes, reducing the time required to reconstruct months of information.

SENBOX lets your school prepare better parent meetings and IEP reviews

SENBOX helps teams bring together current goals, progress, evidence, concerns and recommendations before meetings.

This allows discussions with families to focus on clear evidence and future decisions rather than spending the meeting reconstructing what has happened.

Fully customisable IEP layouts can be configured for your state, country or school’s required format. Parent-friendly versions help families understand individual goals, planned support and progress.

Resources you can find. Materials you can use.

Connect lesson planning with the resources your school owns and the materials it needs.

SENBOX Repair tracking illustration
Repair trackingKeep equipment and resource repair needs visible to your team.

SENBOX lets your teachers know where teaching resources are before the lesson begins

SENBOX can connect physical inventory directly with lesson planning. Teachers can see which resources are linked to an activity, where they are stored and whether they are currently available or in use.

A teacher can plan a lesson and immediately know what is available without opening a separate inventory system.

SENBOX lets your school make better use of the resources it already owns

Schools often invest heavily in toys, manipulatives, sensory equipment and specialist teaching materials that gradually become difficult to locate or underused.

SENBOX helps connect those resources with the activities and learning objectives they support so teachers can find and use them more effectively.

SENBOX lets your school access specialised learning resources

SENBOX provides access to resources designed for areas such as literacy, numeracy, communication, fine motor development, social learning, daily living, matching, categorisation, sequencing, visual learning and independence.

SENBOX lets your school have specialised resources produced when needed

Where a standard resource is insufficient, SENBOX can support the development of specialised learning materials for a specific learner, classroom or programme.

Resources can be prepared for digital use, printing or physical production and, where appropriate, produced and shipped to the school.

A coordinated team. Growing independence.

Give teachers, specialists and learning assistants shared priorities and practical guidance.

SENBOX Staff KPIs and professional development illustration
Staff KPIs and professional developmentConnect staff oversight with training and professional growth.

SENBOX lets your school manage learning assistants more effectively

SENBOX helps schools give learning assistants clearer responsibilities around learner goals, support strategies, routines, levels of assistance and evidence collection.

Their work can be connected directly with the wider learner programme so classroom teachers, special education staff and learning assistants work toward the same priorities.

SENBOX lets your learning assistants support independence rather than dependence

SENBOX helps teams understand how much support a learner currently requires and how that support can gradually change.

Learning assistants can work from clearer expectations around prompting, fading and independence so support develops alongside the learner rather than remaining static.

SENBOX lets your school develop staff continuously

SENBOX supports ongoing professional development in areas such as prompting and fading, task analysis, AAC, behaviour support, data collection, activity adaptation, independence and evidence-based intervention.

Training can be connected to the actual challenges teachers and learning assistants encounter in practice.

Professional development. Ready to use or build your own.

SENBOX offers a library of 4,000 professional development articles for teachers and parents, with certificates. Schools can choose from the library or build their own PD units with videos, tailoring learning to their team’s and families’ needs.

SENBOX lets new staff understand learners faster

SENBOX helps preserve important learner knowledge across goals, routines, communication methods, successful strategies, learning history and support needs.

When staff change, the new team can understand the learner more quickly and maintain greater continuity.

SENBOX lets learners move between classrooms and teachers more smoothly

SENBOX maintains the learner’s educational history so the next team can understand what has already been taught, which strategies have worked and what the current priorities are.

This creates stronger continuity during transitions.

SENBOX lets teachers and specialists work toward the same goals

SENBOX helps organise goals, recommendations, evidence and learning information around one coordinated learner programme.

Different professionals can contribute their expertise while the school maintains a clearer overall direction.

One LMS. 45 languages.

The SENBOX LMS is available in 45 languages, with built-in translation features across all areas and modes. Teams can work in their preferred language, including through live translated chat that supports communication between staff, specialists and families.

Multidisciplinary case management

SENBOX supports multidisciplinary teams within case management through text and video messages. Teachers, therapists and other specialists can share observations and updates to coordinate support around the learner’s individual goals.

Digital signatures for documents. SENBOX also supports digitally signing documents within the LMS, keeping document signing connected to your team’s workflow.

Status updates and red-flag alerts. Integrated status and red-flag systems alert users to due dates and issues that need attention, helping teams follow up on outstanding tasks and coordinate their response.

Meaningful participation. Individual learning.

Connect learner needs with accessible classroom teaching.

SENBOX lets your school engage more learners in meaningful learning

SENBOX helps your team identify each learner’s current abilities, communication needs, interests and barriers to participation, then connect those findings with appropriate goals, activities and teaching strategies. This helps schools move learners from simply being present in class toward actively participating in learning.

SENBOX lets your teachers adapt lessons for different ability levels

SENBOX helps teachers keep learners connected to the same classroom topic while adjusting the level, format and response method. Activities can be delivered through reading, writing, matching, AAC, visual support, physical materials, printable resources or digital tasks.

SENBOX lets your teachers change a lesson quickly when circumstances change

SENBOX gives teachers access to alternative activities while keeping the original learning objective in focus. A replacement activity may be available digitally, as a printable resource, through an existing physical resource or through a specialised SENBOX resource.

SENBOX lets your teachers modify classroom resources

SENBOX helps adapt learning materials through visual support, simplified instructions, different levels of difficulty, AAC support, reduced task complexity, alternative response methods and printable or digital formats.

This helps more learners access the classroom programme while working at an appropriate level.

SENBOX lets learners access activities digitally or physically

SENBOX gives schools flexibility in how activities are delivered.

A learner may complete an activity on a tablet, use a printed version, work with physical teaching materials or use a specialised resource produced by SENBOX.

This can include reading, writing, communication, social stories, toilet routines, feeding routines, speech and language activities and other structured learning programmes.

Clearer assessments. Better support decisions.

Bring observations, learner records and specialist perspectives into programme decisions.

SENBOX Red flag alerts illustration
Red flag alertsBring concerns to the team’s attention for review and follow-up.

SENBOX lets your school track assessments over time

SENBOX helps schools maintain assessment information together with the learner’s broader educational record. Your team can compare assessments, observations, intervention outcomes and progress across different periods and build a clearer developmental picture.

SENBOX lets your school organise learner documents in one structured system

SENBOX helps schools manage IEPs, assessments, progress reports, observations, behaviour information, learning evidence and other learner documentation in a more organised way. Staff can access relevant information more efficiently and maintain greater continuity across the programme.

SENBOX lets your school understand whether a learner is suitable for your programme

SENBOX can support structured observation and review across communication, academics, behaviour, independence, sensory needs, social participation, daily living skills and support requirements. This gives leadership stronger information when making placement and support decisions.

SENBOX lets your school understand each learner’s level of support and risk

SENBOX helps teams review factors such as communication, behaviour, independence, supervision needs, environmental awareness and safety skills. Schools can use this information to make better decisions around staffing, classroom placement, supervision and support.

SENBOX lets your school access multidisciplinary expertise

SENBOX helps schools connect with specialist input when a learner requires deeper assessment or consultation. This can support areas such as communication, behaviour, academics, sensory development, independence and other specialist learning needs.

A stronger programme. Room to grow.

Strengthen existing inclusion services with clearer oversight and more effective use of time and resources.

SENBOX lets your school support more learners with different needs

SENBOX helps schools manage individual goals, activities, resources, evidence and staff responsibilities across a larger number of learners.

This allows a programme to grow while maintaining a stronger level of individualisation and oversight.

SENBOX lets your school strengthen an existing inclusion programme

SENBOX can work with schools that already have inclusion or special education services in place.

We help identify what is working well and where the programme can become stronger across assessment, IEP quality, teaching strategies, data collection, reporting, resources, learner engagement and staff development.

SENBOX lets school leadership see what is happening across the programme

SENBOX gives leadership greater visibility across learners, staff, teaching activities, resources, data and programme implementation.

This makes it easier to identify strengths, gaps, emerging needs and areas that require additional support.

SENBOX lets your school reduce the operational cost of special education

SENBOX helps schools make better use of staff time, teaching materials, specialist knowledge and existing resources.

Teachers can spend less time searching for activities, recreating resources, locating equipment, reconstructing data and manually preparing documentation.

As the programme becomes more organised, the school gains the capacity to support more learners without requiring every increase in enrolment to create the same increase in operational cost.

SENBOX lets your school build an inclusion programme that can grow

SENBOX connects assessment, planning, teaching, resources, inventory, data, documentation, staff development and programme oversight.

The result is a stronger system around the people already delivering the service.

Our model centre: development through daily practice.

Our only model centre is in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We built the project there to support children in need and continue to refine the framework through assessments, individual learning plans, teaching, communication support and daily living skills programmes.

SENBOX’s educational foundation is international. Schools use the framework with their own curriculum, including curricula linked to US Common Core standards, as well as UK, Australian, New Zealand and other curriculum frameworks.

SECURITY AND STUDENT DATA

Clear controls. Evidence for your school’s review.

Review SENBOX’s security register, access model and data-handling requirements as part of your school’s evaluation. Confirm implemented controls and outstanding verification items for your deployment before onboarding.

A register of technical controls

The Security Register tracks encrypted backups, HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest, development and production separation, monitoring and logging, patching, and role-based access control. Schools can request the current evidence and verification status.

Student data stays within its educational purpose

SENBOX’s stated privacy requirements exclude student data from advertising, unrelated analytics, and AI training. District control over record use, maintenance and redisclosure restrictions must be reflected in the agreed data-handling arrangements.

Encryption with settings verified

HTTPS is the stated standard for connections. Storage, bucket-level and database encryption settings require verification for the deployed environment; a cloud provider’s default encryption does not establish that every component has been checked.

Permissions matched to responsibilities

The access model distinguishes Super Admin, Organisation Admin, Staff and Parent roles, including staff access from organisation and personal devices. Server-side enforcement is required to prevent unauthorised access.

Controlled access for Vietnam-based personnel

The stated requirements include de-identified or synthetic development data, named accounts, multi-factor authentication and logged activity for production access. Schools should confirm permitted overseas access and applicable restrictions in their agreement.

Audit trails for significant actions

Logging requirements cover logins, failed attempts, edits, exports, deletions and support access, without unnecessarily copying sensitive document contents into logs.

Backup and recovery arrangements

The supplied technical information describes seven days of database backups on an AWS EC2 virtual machine and an estimated database restoration time of 15–30 minutes. This is a database restoration estimate; recovery testing, backup protection and service recovery commitments need confirmation.

Incident and breach procedures

Staff are required to follow defined reporting, triage, containment and notification procedures for incidents such as unauthorised access or lost devices. Schools can request the response procedure and agreed notification arrangements.

Subprocessor review

External providers, including AWS services and Firebase authentication where used, must be inventoried and reviewed for data access, retention and contractual protections. Request the current subprocessor list during procurement.
